A Short lived journey

It was just 6.14 AM on a beautiful Sunday, some where in southern part of Cbe with the mist and cool breeze moving; one eye opens up and sees the time on the Galaxy Young. It too early to get up says the mind; even it does know it is a Sunday. After a bit of battle between the shawl and the bed spread, I woke up at 7.47 am. After completing the morning activities, it was time to meet the best friend's forever i.e The Hindu and Coffee. Its agony to see a huge bunch of people wanting to have the last glimpse and to pay the final tribute to a political leader says The Hindu. On the other hand, the coffee says try my aroma, which is the most, why not the best smell that one could try in the morning.

After having spoken to these two, of course my best pals, I then decided to take a drive to Palakkad to get my personal work done. Just for a change, wanting to do something different, I decided that the journey should be more enjoyable. It was then a spark (not the one which hits – when you see a beautiful girl) hit me. Why not go in the bike as it is a matter of just 40 kms. I then heard a noise outside my house after which I went out to figure out what was it. It was then I realised it has rained yesterday. The idea of going in my vehicle started increasing as I could see the breeze spraying water droplets on me. This induced me.

Without wasting any much time, I got quickly dressed up and filled my stomach with whatever delicious my mom has made and started. Thanks to my Mom who reminded me to take the rain coats and helmets. The first pit stop was just in a matter of a minute, just to fill in Petrol. I always consider myself; a journey without AR Rahman's magic numbers isn’t complete. So I plugged in my head sets into my ears and started to play a good number. I had a strong belief that a drive in 40kms would give me much pleasure, not sure from I had taken this logic from. The accelerator of my bike wants more of acceleration but with the roads which had some pits and water filled pits added a worry. After moving some 20 mins, it was time for splendid roads and it is the sign that I have entered the Gods own Country.

The joy of overtaking the costly Audis, BMWs and Benz were unmatchable. I had a glimpse of a BMW 520D, which I wanted to have a closer look at it; but to my dismay, it got over took me.

The fragrance of the trees started to induce a little. The speed of the vehicle is getting directly proportionally to the tune of the song. The dew drops in the trees falls on my cheeks with the effect of the breeze. The feeling was almost splendid. Suddenly, I could see a long queue of vehicles. Having the benefit of driving a two wheeler, I raced, wanting to go the front. It was then; I got a chance the see the same 520D, very masculine, sexy black colour, leather interiors, waiting. I stopped my vehicles just to admire this heavenly creation. After thanking the BMW, I raced to the front to see a broke down truck. The traffic was getting slowly and steadily cleared and it a few minutes after, I have reached my destination.

The journey was exuberant- Thanks to the mixture of al these – the greenish smell from the trees, ARR beautiful numbers, due from the leaves and the empty roads

These beautiful things were short lived as I reached the destination. It wouldn’t have been possible if rains Gods, man who invented automobiles, ARR & inventor of headphones & people who laid the roads who helped me to enjoy these moments.

Thanks
